Sweet Crepes

Au Revoir pancakes, and Bonjour sweet crepes! You’ll love making these delicious and easy crepes. Make them for breakfast or dessert. Remember, be careful when using the stove; always check in with a grown-up first and get their help!

Stuff you’ll need:

Non-stick skillet


Arm strength- ‘cause you’ll be whisking for a while ;) 

Measuring cups and spoons 

1/2 cup of all purpose flour 

2 eggs

2/3 cup of whole milk

1 tsp of white sugar 

1 tablespoon of melted butter 

1/2 tsp of vanilla

  1. Add all of your ingredients into a large bowl and whisk until batter is completely smooth and lump free. 

  2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.

  3. Pour 1/2 cup of batter onto skillet and immediately start tilting your pan in circles, allowing your batter to spread out in a nice, even, thin layer. 

  4. Once you see the outside of the crepe begin to change colour (it should happen in just a few seconds) use a non-stick spatula to flip it over. 

  5. Cook for a few seconds more before taking off the pan. 

  6. Repeat until all the batter is used up! 

  7. Serve with butter, maple syrup and sliced bananas or make a cinnamon sugar and sprinkle it on top. C’est Bon!
