Rocky Road Bars

This no-bake dessert bar ROCKS our world!! Have fun experimenting with the “crunchy bits”- we like using peanuts and salted pretzels but try graham crackers, chow mien noodles, almonds, potato chips- you name it- it’ll taste delicious! 

Stuff you’ll need:



Measuring cups 

Heavy bottom pot and a stainless steel bowl 

9x13 baking pan 

2 cups of chocolate chips 

1/3 cup of salted butter

3/4 cups of peanut butter

2 cups of crunchy bits - we like using 1 cup of peanuts and 1 cup of salted pretzels

1 bag of mini marshmallows 

  1. Spray and line a 9x13 pan with parchment paper.

  2. Take a heavy-bottomed pot and fill it 1/4 of the way with water. 

  3. Put the pot on the stove and bring the water to a simmer. 

  4. Grab a stainless steel bowl and add to it your butter and peanut butter. 

  5. Set the bowl on top of the pot that has been simmering on the stove. 

  6. Remove your bowl once your butter has completely melted. 

  7. Add your chocolate chips to the bowl and begin to stir, melting the chocolate chips.  

  8. In a separate large bowl, mix your crunchy bits with your mini marshmallows. 

  9. Pour your melted chocolate chip mixture over your marshmallows and stir to combine. 

  10. Empty the bowl into your prepared pan and spread out to form an even layer. 

  11. Place pan into the fridge and let set for 1 hour before slicing into bars! You ROCK!
